Match:
* or % = parts in that order with anything between (e.g. AO R * AH N JH). | = parts in any order (e.g. AO R | JH). Match buttons anchor the ends of an ordered query. Sounds like compares whole pronunciations instead: it keeps words within a small phonetic edit distance, where near vowels swap cheaply (stress and Fuzzy don’t apply there). Word sense filter optional
Relation:
The filter asks Claude which rhymes are related / synonyms / opposites of your word — so EH ZH ER + “pirates” keeps treasure. No key or account needed; requests are rate-limited, and if the AI is busy it falls back to offline word vectors + WordNet.

Slant rhyme groups

When Fuzzy is on, sounds in the same group are treated as the same sound. Tap a sound to pick it up, then tap the group to move it to — or move it to Loose so it only matches itself. Vowels start loose — the vowel is the rhyme — but you can group similar-sounding vowels too for looser slant rhymes.
